I worked as a freelance UI designer / artist on the awesome puzzle game Hexahedra, redesigning all of the UI and menus and making the assets, then integrating them in Unity, making custom scripts & shaping their dynamic behavior. I'm very proud of the work done even if in terms of pure art I could have done better.
The whole system I made with the time wheel and sliding factory tracks with the feedback of the developer is really one I'm proud of, both in terms of design, art & integration, the final result is super cool, and I really like this game even if it gets too complex for my little brain lol.
For the menus I tried as much as I could to make nice transitions between screens & pop-ups for a smooth experience while having the animations quick enough as to not bother the player. Animating the buttons the player hovers and the overall menus to make them more lively was also something I insisted on.
I used a similar method to Alena Eresko's to build the style of the UI.
